The August 2019 workshop was the 3rd phase of the local community archives program which involves face-to-face mentoring on data gathering, record creation and cataloguing of records/archival materials.

The Program for the Local Community Archives was conceptualized within an “inclusion framework” to empower communities to participate and actively decide what records are important to them and what they want to preserve for future generations.
