The National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) joins the 53rd founding anniversary of the Southeast Asia Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives (SARBICA) marked by the theme: “Empowering Archives – Sweet and Bitter.”

On July 9, 1968, SARBICA was established at an inaugural conference held in Kuala Lumpur, making it the first Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives (ICA).
Today, join us as we celebrate the 53rd anniversary of SARBICA and its continuous efforts to foster the archival institutions within the region despite the pandemic.
