The NCCA in cooperation with the Training and Information Division (TID) of the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) conducted a two (2) day “Webinar-Workshop on Basic Records and Archives Management” on 10-11 December 2020. This activity was carried out in connection with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts- Records Management Improvement Committee (NCCA-RMIC)’s General Assembly on November 11, 2020. The workshop aimed to continue the development of the NCCA RMIC’s capacity in establishing and maintaining a systematic records management program.
Ms. Maita E. Abunales, Administrative Officer V, shared her expertise on the following topics: Republic Act 9470, Introduction to Records Management Creation and Control, Mail Management and Files Management. Mr. Jose Domingo “Jud” M. Barola, Records Management Analyst I, tackled Records Disposition and Administration while Mr. Von E. Abella, Archivist II, discussed Records Center Administration, Archives Administration, and Security of Records on the second day.
The NCCA through Mr. Al Ryan S. Alejandre, Executive Director, expressed its gratitude to NAP Executive Director, Victorino M. Manalo, for the continued partnership aimed at ensuring the efficient and systematic management of records in the Commission.
