The Chief of the newly-established Information Technology Division (ITD) of the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP), Ms. Anna Theresa Magundayao, took her oath-of-office at the Office of the Executive Director upon assumption last 5 December 2019. Executive Director Victorino Mapa Manalo administered the oath. The oath taking was witnessed by Deputy Executive Director Marietta R. Chou, Chief Administrative Officer Jocelyn G. Reyes, Ms. Leoncia A. Marquina, and Ms. Elizabeth B. Eje, Officers-In-Charge of the Archives Preservation Division and the Records Center Division, respectively.

The ITD of the NAP was created to spearhead the improvement of information and communications technology (ICT) systems in the agency. The ITD will also provide essential ICT support services for all agency units. It will be vital in the enhancement of operations and the speeding up of service delivery.
