January 22, 2020, the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) received a Certificate of Appreciation from the City Government of Vigan in the, Partners Appreciation Night at the Vigan Convention Center, Vigan City. The NAP was presented the certificate in recognition of its continuous support for cultivating and enriching the archival collections of the City of Vigan.

The certificate was handed over by the Honorable City Mayor Juan Carlo Medina and Vice Mayor Lourdes DG. Baquiran. Mr. Amiel T. Pangilinan, an archivist from the Archives Collections and Access Division (ACAD) of NAP accepted the award.

The event was attended by awardees from other National Government Agencies, Local Government Units and Non-Government Organizations.
