The National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) held its Agency-wide Planning Workshop last October 1 to 3, 2018 at BP International Hotel, Jamboree Site, University of the Philippines, Los Baños. It was participated by all section heads, division chiefs, Regional Archival Network heads, Deputy Executive Directors, and Executive Director Victorino Mapa Manalo.
This agency activity served as a venue to mobilize each unit to assess 2018 accomplishments, and to formulate catch up plans, discuss schedules of 2019 activities and lay down initial plans for the year 2020. Furthermore, the approved projects and the budget for 2019 were discussed with the group alongside the Public Investment Program (PIP) formulation process. Divisions were encouraged to align their programs and projects with the Electronic Records Management initiative of the NAP.
Subsequently, all Division Chiefs and Regional Network heads are expected to submit their Project proposals to be endorsed by National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) to the Department of Budget Management.
The NAP Planning workshop aimed to provide improved services to the public through developing programs and projects that will better cater the needs of every Filipino.
