We are pleased to announce the signing of Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) No.1 Series of 2021 or the Guidelines for Handling of Records Deemed Contaminated between the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) and Department of Health (DOH).

This JMC will provide guidelines on the proper handling of agency records during the pandemic and shall cover all branches of the government, executive, legislative and judiciary, including but not limited to departments, corporations, and commissions, local government units, state/local colleges and universities, and water districts as well as agencies, and entities.

This JMC shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in the Official Gazette or in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
