With its aim to continuously improve its services among its clients through effective integration of Information Technology, the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) sent a team to the National Archives of Singapore on December 11-13, 2019. Making up the team were Ms. Anna Magundayao, ITD Chief, Ms. Elizabeth Eje, OIC-RCD and Architect Ma. Rita Habalo, Consultant. Since Singapore is known to be a technological leader such trips provide benchmarking opportunities for NAP employees.The visitors were tasked to gather inputs for the use of Information Technology in NAS on the following areas:

  1. Intra-office communications and operations
  2. Records Management in the office as well as for different national agencies
  3. Handling emails
  4. Reading room
  5. Reformatting the obsolete technologies
  6. Archiving website content and web-based service delivery
  7. Archives and storage management
