Spanish Documents Section Collection Transfer
The Archives Collection and Access Division (ACAD) will be moving its Spanish Documents Section (SDS) Collection to a new location starting 15 October 2019. The transfer is scheduled to be completed by January 2020.
SECTION II of the Archives Collection and Access Division
The Archives Collection and Access Division (ACAD) of the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) has made available since 22 May 2019 the Spanish Documents Section’s (SDS) Section II Collection. At present, the majority of the Collection has been digitized. Use of Digital Records in the NAP Temporary Reading Room
Please be informed that the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) will no longer allow the use of original records in our Temporary Reading Room at 1153 Cristobal Street, Paco, Manila due to conservation concerns. The Spanish Documents Section collection is now very brittle and handling will have serious consequences. Instead the public may use the photocopy, microfilm, and digital copies of the records.
