The National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) offices in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be closed to the public from 22 March 2021 to 4 April 2021 based on the Memorandum issued by the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Philippines with the subject Additional Measures to Address the Rising Cases of Covid-19 in the Country dated 21 March 2021. The temporary suspension of operations is a reiteration of Resolution No. 103 of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF) issued on 18 March 2021.

The NAP’s Regional Archival Network offices in Davao City and Mandaue City will continue to be open to the public at 50% capacity with a skeleton staff.

The public in the NCR is advised to course inquiries and requests for documents through nationalarchives@nationalarchives.gov.ph or thru telephone as well as through the NAP website and Facebook page. To lessen the need for travel, the public in Davao City and Mandaue City is also encouraged to do the same.

Please be advised that health and safety protocols such as disinfecting, wearing of masks and face shields, and social distancing shall be strictly implemented in all NAP offices.
