Official Update on the National Archives Office Fire

On May 28, 2018 the Administrative Offices of the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) in Binondo, Manila was hit by a fire which began two buildings away. All staff are safe. The principal document collections including the Spanish Colonial documents of NAP are intact as are the microfilms. These are stored in other sites around Manila…..

NAP Participates in the 2016 General Assembly of ALA and the XVIIIth Meeting of Iberarchivos- ADAI Program

Last June 26 to 28, the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) was represented by Mr. Michael C. Francisco, Chief Archivist, in a series of meetings of the AsociaciĆ³n Latinoamericana de Archivos (ALA) and the 18th Intergovernmental Committee Meeting of the Iberarchivos-ADAI Program.
